Natural jewel Körbersee.

Anyone who has ever visited the magical mountain lake "Körbersee" in Schröcken knows that the lake is a very special place of power. Located in the middle of a nature reserve and framed by an impressive mountain backdrop, the contours of which are reflected in the clear water, the idyllic lake invites you to linger.

The Kalbelesee is located on the Hochtannberg Pass in the immediate vicinity of the Bregenzerwald road - so it's definitely worth a stop here! If you catch the right moment, you will find the Kalbelesee nestling in the pink glow of the alpine roses. If you dare, you should definitely take a dip in the cool water. If you want to combine the lake with a hike, you can walk past the lake to Körbersee: the most beautiful place in Austria!

The Kalbelesee can be perfectly combined with a hike to the Körbersee or the Auenfelder Hütte. Once you arrive at the rustic mountain inn, you should definitely try the famous homemade dumplings!

Lake Hochalpsee.

Up here at just under 2,000 metres, the idyllic high alpine lake is somewhat hidden, nestled in blooming mountain meadows and framed by the imposing rock of the Großer Widderstein and the surrounding mountains.

Right next door is the Widdersteinhütte, which attracts visitors with its wonderful views, tasty yeast dumplings and hearty soups!
