There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
For all those who don't mind the rain: we have a few hikes for you here that are special even in the rain.
- Körbersee: the firm and wide path from the Hochtannberg Pass to the Körbersee is also very good on wet days. Warm up: with a hot chocolate at the Berghotel Körbersee.
- Hut visit: a hut is the perfect destination for a short hike, especially on rainy days! How good that the Hochalphütte, the Auenfeldhütte, the Punschhütte or the Widdersteinhütte can be reached by short hikes on well-maintained paths.
- Holzgau suspension bridge: Waterfalls are particularly impressive on rainy days! But the Sims waterfall is not the only impressive thing on this hike - after the waterfall, you cross the 110 metre high suspension bridge in Holzgau!
- Schoppernau waterfall circular trail: you can marvel at another waterfall on the waterfall circular trail in Schoppernau.
- Quelltuff in Lingenau: the natural phenomenon of lime sintering is definitely worth a visit, even if it does require a short car journey!
Stay sporty, but don't get wet?
- Off to indoor training at Sport.park.lech. Or how about a round of bowling?
- Vertical adventures await in the arl.rock climbing hall in St. Anton.
- The K1 climbing centre in Dornbirn is also a great place to get up high.
- You can play a round of tennis in the indoor tennis centre at the Hotel Post in Bezau.
- Bowling fun awaits at the bowling alley at Gasthof Alpenblick in Bach.
- You can also play bowling at the Lauterach Bowling Centre.
- Off to the ice! At the ice rink in the Messestadion Dornbirn or the Rheinhalle ice rink in Lustenau.
