The mountain tour starts at the impressive Hochtannberg Pass at an altitude of 1,676 meters, from where we set out to climb the majestic peaks. An ascent of 857 meters awaits us as we move through a backdrop of wild flowers and fresh alpine herbs lining the path to the Widderstein Hut. Shortly before reaching the hut, we turn left to reach the rock entrance. From here, we follow the markings on the rocks and master some climbing passages to finally reach the summit ridge. Along the partly exposed path, we reach the summit cross in a few minutes, which rewards us with breathtaking views all around. We pause, breathe in the fresh, invigorating mountain air, and savor the moment before starting our descent. The descent is either on the same path or via the Hochalp Pass back to the Hochtannberg Pass.
